![Page 1: The Letter Clara has just finished football practice with her friends. As she’s leaving the pitch, the coach asks her to hold back because he wants to speak to her. The coach gives Rini a letter from the national sports youth council. It’s an invitation to represent Morro Verde at the city’s youth sports council. The coach asks her to talk to her friends about the issues she should bring up. Her friends laugh – Why would you want to represent Morro Verde? 1. She thought it was a dump. She was ashamed of her neighbourhood at the beginning of the story.
2. I think Clara feels ashamed because she lied at the beginning. But the youth council understood her, because Rita tried to kick her off the youth council. I think Clara isn´t ashamed of Morro Verde anymore, because she understood that it isn´t a dump and it´s good to play football there in the tournament.
3. I am always proud of my neighbourhood.
4. Yes, I have poor neighbourhoods in my city, all around me. Some examples are Valeria, Pernambues, Nordeste de Amarelina and Sussurarana.
5. Sometimes the people who live there may be mugged, because there are more drug gangs in these neighbourhoods.

Hi Tonucatien,
Thanks for your answers, I agree with a lot of what you say. In question 7, you're right she is upset because she lied and leaving the youth council would be a consequence of this, so I would say that is the closest of the three options. What do you think?
