I don't think footballers should be role models. I believe every citizen of the world should give good examples to our society.
I have a lot of players who I admire,most of them belong to my domestic league.

My footballing hero is Harry Kane from my team.
My hero outside of football is Aziz Sancar is a Turkish molecular biologist who was awarded the 2015 Nobel Prize in Chemistry.
Footballer have to be role-models. Especially youth simulate their behaviour. So they have to be care of their life.
Let me share one of my dissapointment on this topic.There is a midfielder who also played in the premier league. He was one of my heros. Unfortunately in a thrilled maç he hit opponent's foot to wound him intentionally. All the dreams demolished-:)

My footballing hero is Ronaldo "The Phenomenon".
I think they are exposed. More than ordinary people. And it brings some kind of responsability. But I don't think there's a human pattern that every single person should follow. Everybody must respect each other, know what is your space in society, try to leave healthy...and even if a footballer doesn't follow these models, we must be able to judge and decides if we want this for our lives or for other people's lives.
My hero outside football is another sports related: Ayrton Senna.

My footballing heroes are Sir Alex Ferguson & David Beckham in the past and nowadays I admire Marcus Rashford & Bruno Fernandes.

Footballers should be role models because children at school look up to them and they like to follow their footsteps so they should be aware of their behaviour on & off the pitch.

Outside football my parents and aunts are my role models.

Yes, I strongly agree with the idea that footballers should be role models, because the majority of people who follow their news and personal lives are teens. This category of people is very sensitive and needs always a model to imitate him. This behavior manifests clearly in some acts like imitating hair style.

I think the role model person have to establish charity organizations at lest in his country . Someone like Messi and Christiano Ronaldo helping to solve the poverty problems .. on the other hand i respect Sir Magdi Yacoub he is Egyptian cardiothoracic surgeon he established more than charity organization in UK and Egypt
