Activity Week - Dilemmas

  • Lesson 1 - Facebook live
Facebook Live! We will tell you all the live lessons we have for you this week and we will also do a live recording of our This Week show. Jack and Rich will discuss all the weekend’s Premier League action and throw in some football English for you to learn. This event will take place on the Premier Skills - British Council Facebook page.
  • Lesson 2
In This Week - Matchweek 27, Jack and Rich talk about all of the weekend's action in the Premier League; the big headlines and the main talking points. We also ask you to get involved; do you agree with Jack and Rich's choices of best player, best team and best match of Matchweek 27?
  • Lesson 3
This is our latest Football English Blog and this week we're talking about whether cup competitions are important for Premier League clubs.
  • Lesson 4
Premier Skills English Podcast - Understanding Grammar - Dilemmas: In this podcast, Rich and Jack talk about some dilemmas that players face and look at the language involved.
  • Lesson 5
In the last lesson, Jack and Rich spoke about dilemmas on and off the football pitch. In this lesson, we’re going to look more at the language you need to talk about dilemmas. The lesson focuses on the use of ‘would’ and conditional forms.
  • Lesson 6
Discussion: In this lesson, we look at some more dilemmas and give you the opportunity to express your own opinions. This lesson gives you the chance to use the language that you have learned in the previous two lessons.
  • End of week test
How much do you remember from the lessons from this activity week? If you can pass this test, you will be able to download a certificate.
  • Round-up - Dilemmas
Jack will be back with a round-up of everything we’ve learned in this activity week. If you have any questions you can write them in the comments section on the Premier Skills English website or on the Premier Skills - British Council Facebook page. Jack will answer these questions on Friday!
  • End of week certificate
Complete the activity week and pass the test to earn a certificate.
