All this vocabulary is very useful. I was wondering if there are any different names for the seats people sit on while watching a match. In Spanish they are called gradas, tribuna.. Look forward to hearing from you

We call the area that we sit 'stands' which is a bit strange! In the past, when you could stand at football matches, these areas were called terraces. We don't have different names for the areas of stands in English stadiums. Each stadium has different names for its stands. So, at Anfield (Liverpool) you can sit on the Kop which is the most famous stand and behind the goal. You can also sit in the Anfield Road End, the Main Stand or the Kenny Dalglish Stand. You also get executive boxes at all stadiums.
You get different names for seats in theatres in the UK (stalls, the circle or boxes) but not at football stadiums.
