The Team
Gameweek 2 finished with 62 points for the Premier Skills team on the Premier League's official Fantasy Football game. You chose the team and decided to go with Zlatan Ibrahimovic (26 points) as your captain, in a 3-4-3 formation. Every week, you choose the team, select the captain (double points) and nominate players to sell and buy. In the Premier Skills League, we are in 6th place with 116 points. Congratulations to Caligula managed by Andra Tetuko from Indonesia who is currently top of the Premier Skills League with 129 points. How is your team doing?
Last week, we had problems in defence. Neither of our goalkeepers played and only one defender! It's time to make some changes! We have decided to sell Watford's Juan Carlos Paredes and West Ham's Mark Noble to give us some extra money to buy a better defender.

Sergio Aguero scored two against Stoke and was top scorer with Ibrahimovic in the Premier Skills Fantasy Football team in Gameweek 2.

Rich: Rich here. Welcome to our fantasy football discussion points. Jack and I are here to talk about the Premier Skills Fantasy Football team and the players that you think are right for our team.
Jack: 62 points! Better than last week! Thanks to our star strike force - Ibrahimovic, Aguero and Negredo.
Rich: These three players are keeping our team near the top of the league. Two more goals from Zlatan, 2 goals from Aguero and maximum bonus points for both of them means they both scored 13 points.
Jack: And you - our Premier Skills listeners chose Ibrahimovic as our captain last week which means he got double points - that’s 26 points for Zlatan!
Rich: And Middlesbrough’s Negredo also got 10 points as he got 2 assists which are worth three points each and 2 bonus points.
Jack: Our strikers are performing very well. I don’t think we need to make any changes there.
Rich: No, but our midfield is not performing very well and our defence is absolutely awful.
Jack: 12 points from midfield is very average but it’s in defence where we need to make some changes. Our goalkeeper and defence only got one point!
Rich: I know. We only had one player - Watford’s Craig Cathcart - who played. The others either are injured or have just moved to other clubs. What are we going to do?
Jack: Well, we have two free transfers to make this week. And with your help we need to make some decisions.
Rich: Our defenders are very cheap so we need to sell one midfielder and one defender. This will give us some money to buy a cheaper midfielder and a more expensive defender who we are certain will play.
Jack: I’ve looked at our defence and we should sell Watford’s Juan Carlos Paredes - he is not injured and hasn’t played.
Rich: Good. And in midfield, we need to sell either Southampton’s Dusan Tadic or West Ham’s Mark Noble to give us some money to buy a better defender.
Jack: Southampton are at home to Sunderland and West Ham are away to Man City next weekend. I think we should sell Mark Noble because West Ham have a more difficult match.
Rich: OK, good idea. So we will have £10.5 million to buy a midfielder and a defender.
Jack: This is where we want your help. We have put the top 5 defenders for £5.5 million or less and the top 5 midfielders for £5 million or less in the votes below. We want you to choose the ones we should buy for the Premier Skills team.
Rich: We then want you to select this week’s captain. Should we go for Ibrahimovic again or maybe Aguero or maybe Riyad Mahrez or Kevin De Bruyne?
Jack: The Premier Skills team scored 62 points last week which is 5 points above the average.
Rich: We are in the top 20% of teams which is great as there are over 3.5 million players!
Jack: What about the Premier Skills League?
Rich: The Premier Skills team is in 6th place on 116 points. Doing pretty well but Caligula managed by Andra Tetuko from Indonesia is top on 129 points. Caligula along with Platinum Raw XI managed by Peter Obare from Kenya were the Gameweek two’s top scorers with 76 points in the Premier Skills League.
Jack: What about your team, Rich?
Rich: I scored 57 points and I’m in 16th place on 105 points overall. What about you Jack?
Jack: I’m down in 29th place but I did better than last week. I got 44 points!

We have £10.5 million to spend on one defender and one midfielder. Choose one defender and one midfielder from the lists below. The players with the most votes (if we have enough money) will be bought for the Premier Skills squad. Then, choose the captain for Gameweek 3, do you think we should continue with Zlatan Ibrahimovic or someone else in the Premier Skills squad. This week my team managed 45 points. I am in the rank 25 of the table with 87 points. I'm not very pleased because only three players got more than eight points. The rest only 0,1 or 2 points.
I've done three changes. I've moved to Smalling, Herrera and Defoe and I've bought to Stones, Capoue and Aguero.

Well done!! We have a great squad! All above fantastic strikers that are doing good matchs. In defence I may sell to Taylor and I may buy to John Stones. Also you could buy to Kouyate and sell to Paredes.
My titular team would be Valdes, Stones,Wilson, Cathcart, De Bruyne, Noble , Mahrez, Kouyate, Aguero,Ibrahimovic and Negredo.
I think that Sergio Aguero could be captain this week because he play at home and can score more goals.

In this comment, I am going to focus on one mistake that you made a few times. When you say, 'I may buy to John Stones' or 'sell to Paredes' we don't say 'to'. You should say, 'I might buy John Stones' or 'You could buy Kouyate and sell Paredes'.
My Spanish is not fantastic but I think you might be translating this phrase directly as I know you can say 'comprar a John Stones' for example.

That restricts the choice for the midfielder to only 2 players: Capoue or Maloney. Both have tough matches to play next week. I would say Capoue might have more chances to score as Arsenal defense organization seems to be less solid than Man Utd's one.

The only thing I'd correct is the clause: Arsenal defense organization seems to be less solid than Man Utd's one.
I would say: Arsenal's defence seems to be less solid than Manchester United's. You might also say - the organisation of Arsenal's defence... but I think that it's not necessary.
Oh, yes. And I favour British spelling, but your choice of American over British English is not right or wrong. My computer prefers American English so my spell checker is now underlining four words in this comment.

I had 5 players in my team not playing at all and its having a great impact on my points. It can get frustrating.
