In this part of our pre-season course we're going to take a little look at how commentators, fans and managers often describe strikers.
The Leicester striker, Jamie Vardy, has blistering pace and times his runs very well to beat the offside trap.
The difficult words are in bold. Now, look at this sentence, it means the same but it might be easier to understand.
The Leicester City striker, Jamie Vardy, is very, very fast. He runs at the perfect time so as not to be offside.
