Possibly found a small bug. The past tense of "leap" in Q 9 looks like in American spelling, "leaped".

Hello Joking_Clock

In British English, we use both forms; leaped and leapt. In the past, 'leapt' was more popular, but both are OK now. I think they use both forms in American English too. When I am not sure, I usually look at the Cambridge learner's dictionary online: https://dictionary.cambridge.org/dictionary/english/leap

Hi ProfeMarcos

Welcome to Premier Skills English! I can see that you have done lots of quizzes already! It's great to have more fans from Uruguay on the website. Are you a big fan of Luis Suarez?

An open goal is when there is nobody between the striker and the goal. The attacker only needs to kick the ball into the net. Often a striker takes the ball round the goalkeeper and puts the ball into an open goal.

Hope that helps!

Words like "striker" or "slotted" don't have a good translation in my dictionary. "Striker" means someone who is on strike ? and "Slot" is a long and thin hole that you put something into like a coin ?
I see that many words change their mean when you're using them in the football world.

Hi Josep-Barca

Yes, multiple meanings can make things more difficult! Striker is quite common in English and is used more frequently than forward or attacker (these two words are more general). To slot home (to score an easy goal often after going around the goalkeeper) is much more idiomatic and therefore more difficult to understand.
