Getting your hair cut when you are abroad can be scary. The language related to getting a haircut is very specific and rarely used away from the barbershop.
The challenge this week is all about communicating with the barber.

The following activities will help you if you need to have a haircut in the UK. The first activity is a comprehension activity that should help you notice the important language in the video.
Activity 1: In this activity, you have to put the events from the video into the correct order.

Activity 2: In this next activity, you have to match the barber's equipment with the names.
Match words with the pictures.
Activity 3: In this activity, you have to read some descriptions of haircuts and match them with their names. If you are not sure, you should use a google image search.

I have my hair cut once in every two months. I know it sounds a bit crazy, but I always like to wait till it grows longer. Going to the barber is my nightmare. They don't often cut my hair as I want to, maybe my head does not fit the kind of the hair cut I want to have, or they have difficulties in understanding my language. I wish I could cut my hair by myself, and could save myself from the barber.

It sounds crazy but I cut my hair once a week XD.I don't let my hair grow.That's why I visit the barber shop so often.I have crew cut hairstyle,as you can see in my picture.I ask the barber to cut the back and sides of my head using number 1 clipper attachment and in the top just a little bit longer.Well I have a fixed barber,so he already knows how I want to get my hair done.I once had mohawk style but not anymore,maybe further on I'll have it again.

Wow - that's a lot. I haven't been to a barber's in years. I use clippers and do it myself, though I don't have that much hair anymore.
