It is not good when you play penalties but if the other team is stronger than you and you can not catch the ball,playing penalties is better.

I remember penalty shoot-outs when my faculty drew against the department of History at our university football cup final. We are level 4-4, our goalkeeper makes a save and I am the last player to shoot a penalty. A very nervous moment, but not for me. I place the ball firmly on the penalty spot, make two steps away. Referee blows a whistle...and I shoot a ball that finds the back of the net off the crossbar to the left of the opponent goalie. The crowd go wild! It was the first University Football Cup our faculty has ever won) Pleasant memories!

An excellent episode! After watching it I surfed the Net and I found the National Football Museum website, I think it would be an amazing experience being there because there are several activities you can do like the penalty shoot-out. In the Mexican league there are 2 criteria to determine the winning team at the playoffs and none includes penalty shoot-outs. Its a shame because its the most exciting and fairest way to finish a match.

In the UK, before penalty shoot-outs there was always a replay in cup matches, sometimes there were be 3 or 4 matches to decide a cup tie!
