Tracy gives some tips on how to identify new apps to try out. She then outlines some really useful apps you can use in class with learners, such as apps for giving presentations and for note-taking. She also talks about several apps that teachers can recommend to help learners with self-study.

She gives some tips on how schools and education institutions can successfully manage the use of mobile devices in the classroom and recommends some apps for teachers which can help with their work, for example an app that enables you to tag and organise your lesson plans and another which can be used to manage behaviour.

Finally she describes the distinctive features of the new LearnEnglish kids playtime app, which is the latest app available from the British Council.
