What stage are you at in our CPD framework? Click on a stage to watch video and find out more.
Starting stage 1 You’re studying for your initial certificate and planning your first job in English language teaching. Watch
Newly qualified stage 2 You have an initial qualification and are in your first years of teaching, putting the principles you’ve learned on your course into practice. Watch
Developing stage 3 You are a TEFL-I certificate qualified teacher with several years experience, possibly taking a TEFL-Q qualification. Watch
Proficient stage 4 You are a TEFL-Q diploma qualified teacher. Watch
Advanced stage 5 You are a highly-experienced TEFL-Q diploma qualified teacher, who may be taking on further responsibilities and roles, for example as a senior teacher or a mentor. Watch
